Preschool – 4th grade
An educational approach designed by Dr. Maria Montessori. It considers education as a tool for life and is based on the natural development of the child.
This individualized method, where the teacher becomes the child's guide, helps the child find independence in learning, fostering active exploration and innate curiosity.
With this methodology, our students achieve the general educational standards of the United States for each level and can excel in any area above their grade level standard.
Our English programs are sensitive to the varying levels of students, accommodating native speakers, intermediate, and beginner English learners.
Develops oral language, writing process, and reading.
Aligned with international work
standards.
Students will receive
instruction in 40% Spanish and 60% English.
In the Montessori program's English curriculum, we also prepare our students to begin their international assessments in English from Middle School onwards. These assessments are administered annually by the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. Each year, our students receive an international certificate for their English proficiency level, which they use to build their university portfolio.
